A member of Allianz Group, one of the largest global insurance providers, Allianz Sigorta A.Ş. is among the insurers making the largest contribution in raising awareness regarding risk management in Turkey. Besides the insurance services offered, the company has also been providing risk engineering services for long years in terms of identification and prevention of potential risks the customers may face, with risk engineers specialized in different segments. Having led the way in risk management in Turkey, Allianz Sigorta A.Ş. also sets its vision as continuously raising the bar in this area.
Allianz Group decided to establish testing and training centers in Turkey, following the footsteps of the Vehicle Collision Test Center and Renewable Energy Test Center in Munich, Germany. Allianz Teknik Project was launched with the goal of building the first accredited earthquake laboratory in Turkey, and it consists of earthquake and fire reaction testing laboratories, as well as special simulation areas where hands-on training programs are provided. Allianz Teknik Earthquake and Fire Test and Training Center, which has been operational since 15 October 2019 when the project activities were completed, was accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) with the certificate number AB-1601-T on 1 April 2021.
In addition to accredited testing operations, Allianz Teknik provides engineering services and hands-on training programs on earthquake and fire to its customers. The project, which was implemented with the aim of raising risk awareness in society and achieving a sustainable future, also supports academic studies and social responsibility projects.
